Pop Goes the Bubble

For those of us who didn’t grow up in a church, the way we came to faith is by encounter and exposure to other people. Those other people might be Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Atheist, etc. It’s the person who is approachable, authentic, human, humble and kind that we are initially drawn to. When we start to form a friendship, a relationship with that person, we recognize that their faith is the basis for the authenticity we were drawn to. Our curiosity of faith, that want to seek more, comes when the bubble between us pops. Don’t be afraid to pop the bubble – that is where the church begins.
